The 2023 Chevy Silverado has a new wheel option that is now available to order on select trims.

The new wheel option for the 2023 Silverado 1500 includes 22-inch Black wheels with selective machining (RPO Code SRL). You can get these risk-free by opting in on LT, RST, LTZ and High Country trim levels. They're also LPO or dealer-installed which means that your truck comes fitted from the factory with four 22" steel wheels that have had their alignment specs already set to adjust for the weight of the SRLs.

It's essential to point out that the new wheel option can't be bought in addition to either the Z71 Off-Road Package (Z71) or Max Trailering Package ((NHT). For the High Country, these wheels specifically require Adaptive Ride Control (Z45), which is part of what makes up  the High Country Premium Package. That package also contains a power sunroof and provides access to buy the even higher leveled  High Country Premium II Package.

The new option comes after limited availability of some features on the Silverado 1500. As GM Authority previously reported, select units of the 2023 Silverado have been built without functional power outlets However, physical outlets are still being installed on these trucks but they do not provide power. Meanwhile, GM is also imposing a limited availability of wireless phone charging (K4C) on lower trims . These restrictions come as a result of supply constraints.

As a reminder, the 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 comes with four engine options. These include the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, the atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the atmospheric 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine which replaces the 3.0L I6 LM2 diesel engine .

The Chevy pickup rides on GM's T1 platform , which is shared with other models like the 2023 GMC Sierra .
